      <div class="heading_main_2">	ABOUT THE LIBRARY </div>

      <p>The ShaheedBhagat Singh College Library is one of the most important constituent of SBSC which started functioning right from the inception of the college. Over a period of last 4 years it has transformed itself into a fully Automated <strong>Knowledge and  Learning Resource Centre </strong>byleveraging extensively with all modern information and communication technologies and CCTV based Security System. It is spread across 3 floors with total sitting capacity of around 200 seats, with reading halls on first and second floors of the library along with the collection. In 2010 library undertook major renovation work of first floor of the library to give a face lift to its physical infrastructure and facilities. This highly renovated first floor of the library offers a congenial environment for study and research. A special emphasis has also been placed on promotion of electronic resources by developing e-resource centres for faculty members as well as for students. </p>

      <h2 class="sub_heaqding"> Rules and Regulations</h2>
      <ol class="list_inner">
        <li>Entry to Library is permitted on production of bar-coded library card issued by the library.</li>
        <li>Bags are not allowed inside Library.</li>
        <li>Use of Mobile Phones is not allowed inside the Library. </li>
        <li>Library cards are not transferable.</li>
        <li>Library is a No Smoking Area.</li>
        <li>Complete silence is to be observed.</li>
        <li>Library issues 4 Books to Under Graduate and 5 Books to Post Graduate students for a period of 10 days. </li>
        <li>A late fine of Rs. 1/- per day is charged for books returned after due date.</li>
