           The Department of Mathematics, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, enthusiastically celebrates
its annual festival GANITAM every year. This festival comprises of various academic and
non-academic events that include inter and intra college competitions. The students of the
department with support from the faculty actively organise these events which gives them an
opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills, apart from inculcating a team
work spirit in them. </p>
<strong>On Ganitam 2021-22</strong>
<p>GANITAM 2021-22 was organised in online mode during 21-22 February 2022. The chief
guest and speaker for the occasion was Prof. R.K. Sharma who served as a scientist at ISRO
for 30 years.</p>

<p>The six events organised during this festival were “The Math Olympiad”, “Panel discussion
competition report”, “The Escape Room Competition” (Quiz and puzzles), “Paper
Presentation”, “BPlan Competition” and “Chess Tournament”.</p>

<p>The festival was successful with a nation-wide participation of over 780 students.</p>
