<p align="justify">Technology is all pervasive and prevalent in everyday spectrum of our lives. For over five decades, influences of technology have exhibited significant impact on re-shaping Indian business. In today's world, technology can be viewed as a crucial tool of transformation, which extends beyond our lifestyle to the way we transact, interact and conduct business. It is also the key enabler for innovation and sustainable development of an economy. Across all sectors, be it communication, media, healthcare, logistics, retail, services and manufacturing- digital disruptions are all pervading. Constant development in technology has paved way to ground- breaking innovations leading to knowledge intensive economies. It is therefore, important to understand and appreciate the factors that are ushering in such innovations and how these are influencing the modern day business.
